Edit DV, HDV and Other Video Formats in Realtime
EDIUS Neo 2 offers native editing in various formats including AVCHD. HDV, DV, Windows Media and QuickTime, and provides seamless realtime workflow, supporting mixing of all formats in the same timeline. EDIUS Neo 2 features realtime, multi-track, mixed format HD/SD editing, compositing, chroma keying, titling and Blu-ray Disc/DVD output capabilities.
Exceptional Mixed-Format Editing
Featuring unrivaled realtime video transcoding technology, EDIUS Neo 2 performs conversion between different HD and SD resolutions, aspect ratios and frame rate all in realtime. Edit 1080i on a 4:3 standard definition timeline, use NTSC together with PAL or combine them all into a 720/24p project without wasting a single moment on conversion or rendering. EDIUS Neo 2 also features realtime playback and DV output of all effects, keyers, transitions and titles, and can export projects to any format or medium required.

No Special Hardware Required
EDIUS Neo 2 does not require any special hardware to work – it can run on a laptop as well as a workstation system, and can input/output video from any Generic OHCI hardware.
New Features from EDIUS Neo
EDIUS Neo 2 includes a number of new features as compared to the previous EDIUS Neo. EDIUS Neo 2 includes more efficient codecs allowing realtime layering of up to five or more layers of HDV (depending on system hardware). It also includes a new layout tool and a powerful set of GPU accelerated effects (GPUfx). Additionally, you can now output from the timeline to Blu-ray disc and there are a number of new DVD menu presets for basic authoring support. In addition, EDIUS Neo 2 may be used in a standalone configuration, with our HDSPARK HDMI monitoring solution or our FIRECODER Blu hardware accelerator for Blu-ray disc encoding. |
